If your phone service provider does not offer a call blocking service or you simply don’t want to pay for it on a monthly basis, there is another way that you can block unsolicited calls on your landline. Simply purchase an inbound call-blocking device, plug it in between your phone line and phone outlet and enjoy the peace and quiet. You do need to keep in mind that when anyone calls you, including family and friends, they will need to enter a code in order to get through the call blocker. Although this can be a bit annoying, it is well worth it.
Download A Call Blocking App On Your Smartphone
If you are receiving unsolicited phone calls on your smartphone/cell phone there is a simple way to block those annoying calls for once and for all. There are many applications for both Android phones and iPhones that you can download that block calls from those annoying telemarketers, especially if they attempt to call you from an “unknown” number in order hide the actual phone number that they are calling from.
Alter Your Smartphone Settings
Another way to block unsolicited calls on your smartphone is to change the settings on your phone. Did you know that both Android phones and Apple iPhones can be set to only receive calls from numbers that you approve of? That being stated, there is a slight drawback to this.
